Life is a moonshot
This is where I write about all the stuff that interests me. I have some insights and most of the time is hard to speak about them all the time. This is where I dump all the stuff.
I started my first company when I was 19. I was studying engineering in telecommunications and computer science at ITAM a top Mexican university. My company failed so blatantly that I became homeless.
Through entrepreneurship and technology, most of the time I was the nerdiest person in the room I built some of the most iconic AI companies in Latin America 15 years ago.
After some exits I started investing, after some exits and some failures I started again an AI fintech company 8Alpha.ai, the 1st AI native bank.
Why everything is a moonshot, because most of the thing I do, are highly improbable but they need to be done.
Coming from a lower class family in Mexico I was able to build and exit tech companies in two countries, invested in 25+ companies in the US, exited a couple, failed in 4 or 5, be featured in Inc and Fortune and be proficient in a lot of diverse disciplines like motorcycling (track), mtb, ice hockey, freestyle skating, basketball, tae kwon do, golf, paddle boarding, Spanish, English, piano, guitar, nutrition, art, snowboarding, dancing, skiing, skateboarding and of course entrepreneurial pursuits.
I am neuro divergent middle age guy, who has traveled a lot that prefers to write than to post in social media. Even though this year I’ll try to be Insta famous.
